Yes, but one could say the same of Nazi Germany, but I don't think that makes them Nazis. Besides the people doing these things are at least saying somewhat hidden until the event.

It's true, though - look at the Palestinians. If Fatah had ever exerted its numerical superiority over Hamas, the Clinton plan would've been accepted by 2002 at the latest. And having spent a year of school next-door to a dorm room occupied by one Shi'ite and one Sunni (fun fun fun!) I can tell you that the mainstream Muslim considers peaceful introspection far more to be the way of the Qu'ran than extremist violence.

If such a creature (I refuse to refer to her as a person) were to turn up in even the gritiest TV show, like nBSG, she'd be immediately laughed at as completely unrealistic by everyone who saw it.

Yes, but torture is believable enough.
A woman that organised other women to be raped so they'd lose the will to live and become suicide bombers? I think even the 24 fans would have a WTF moment if that ever came up.

Don't forget its a culture thing, or lack there of in their case. In their eyes its better to do nothing and live in a horrible life then to try and make something of themselves.

Maybe I'm just really jaded but I didn't bat an eye over this.

I'm not shocked over it either. I've seen worse. Those people over there are still little better then a reminder of the Dark Ages.
