Yeah, it turns out my uncle and aunt were still (secretly) trying to sell my grandma's house, after they'd suggested I put in my notice at my current apartment. Which would effectively leave me homeless. It's a damn shame when your own family tries to screw you over because they're greedy (even though they have plenty of their own money already).

Was anybody able to put a stop to it? Or did you get screwed again?

Thankfully, I don't leap without looking, and I didn't give my notice yet. My Grandma is pretty adamant that I get the house; apparently, it's going to be put in writing tonight.

Still, it's a healthy reminder to me that people are, for the most part, not to be trusted.

Alas, true. Just out of curiousity, how would your aunt and uncle have sold it if grandma and grandpa want you to have it?
