Well, I read that Nichelle Nichols, George Takei, and Walter Koenig met with their new counterparts, to help them prepare for the roles. Most of us will never meet celebrities, especially those from our favorite programs. But when they pass away you realize the effect they have on us makes you feel like you lost a friend.
