Rochey - sorry nobody has answered your question - I assume "It's cool because it's cool" wasn't a helpful answer. :P

It's cool because in the past, superheavy nuclei were both artificial and extremely short-lived; a naturally occurring, stable one would mean very new things to our understanding of one if not both of the nuclear forces.

Okay, thanks.

Blackstar: I never did chemistry at all. The last time I had anything to do with that subject was ~12 years ago when I had to do it as part of the generic 'Science' course for my Junior Cert. exams. Hence why I know damn all about this.

You didn't get that from what I said?

I did, or would have if I didn't get it already; but I think the second clause of my sentence was what made it clearer. With Rochey's background, i's quite understandable if GUT terminology isn't in the forefront of his mind.

I got why it's unusual from you're post, but Mikey's post was what pointed out the significance.

You should seriously improve on your reading comprehension. I didn't have a clue what the hell this thread was about because I never did chemistry in the first place. It's a bit difficult to know things about a subject you never did. I'd imagine I could bring up masses of stuff on history or biology that you wouldn't have a clue about.

I dount you could tell me anything I dont know about biology. I've read the bible I know God created man out of clay and woman out of Adams rib.
What does defeat mean to you?

Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.
