Gun-type warheads just smash together the material, easier to make but higher dud rate and less power.
No, actually, the first nuclear bomb ever exploded was an implosion type bomb. The Hiroshima bomb was a gun type, but the Nagasaki bomb was also an implosion device.

Then some assembly plant somewhere would be trying to fit toilet paper rolls into the detonation mechanism of an ICBM.
Great, now I have a mental image of Moscow being showered in toilet paper if WW3 breaks out.

And this somehow changes the technical challenge of timing? The US had the full resources of a nation involved in the construction. A nation that's industry wasn't even operating at full production. As well as the backing of installations in Canada and the UK, it took four years to even detonate a bomb.

Contrast that with Iran, North Korea or Pakistan. The first two have barely enough resources to get two sticks to make fire with and Pakistan was simply incompetant. As well as the fact that this information is not just simply out there to take. Nuclear fuses and triggers are highly classified and restricted information and technology. Unless someone shares it with you, you have to develop it yourself. That involves a fair bit of trial and error, see North Korea with it's duds (they were dumb enough to buy the plans from Pakistan whose first bomb failed in the same manner).

Which is the nuke, and which is off of my toilet paper roll?
The second one is the nuke

Weird thing is... that might've ended WW3 right there.

If it were Soviet Russia, you would be hailed as a demigod for such a bounteous gift of TP.

Am I the only one who doesn't think this was a mistake. Or at least thinks the possibility that this was on purpose? I mean come on, China has nukes. Tiawan is the US' friend. We can't just give Taiwan nuclear weapons. But if we accidently send them over and then some reporter or admin who doesn't know the scoop discovers it.. or chinese spy, we can simply say, oops our bad.

Just so you all know. The US has been loading Tiawan with weapons for years. No doubt this was intended but the US can't admit it and China can'T prove it.
