Wow. That's either really deep, or a paraphrase of some lyrics by Kansas. I now measure seasons by which equipment bag I have to prepare for my daughter and what educational supplies I have to get. :)

It's a pretty quiet day at work, so I can relax -- except for this one fly buzzing around here. I swear it must be attracted to me since it keeps buzzing around me and landing on me. grrr.

Flies sense when you're annoyed by them. :D And then they play the "I'm not touching you!' game.

You wish Mark, but no. One of them, her ex is an insufferable ass who wishes to kill me, he would lose, because I care enough to make sure she's ok. The other, is going through mild relationship issues. The other friend who is not like a sister, her bf hates me for very reasonable reasons, although I've told her on several occasions that I would protect him til death because he is her anchor, regardless of how much he hates me.

Nick....it can be frustrating. I've got a friend whose an awsome gal. She's good looking, tall, slim, well endowed, and a sweetheart. Her BF is about five feet tall, and a royal ass. I went to rehab with him, and he got kicked out.

He beats her, yells at her, calls her names, cheats on her (and tells her how crappy she is in bed while giving her details of sex with other women), and is a falling down drunk who doesn't work.

Most recently, he put her in the hospital with a donky punch (look it up on wikipedia), and she asked me to drive her home (he wanted to go get some beer instead). Then begged me not to say or do anything to him. He's so little, just punching him in the face could do way more damage than you intended, but he's always up in your face and belligerant as hell (think scrappy doo).

So, I know that frustration brother.

Yeah, honestly, if he hits me, unless I genuinely do something deserving of being hit (I accept being wrong sometimes), I will kill him, and I don't mean that figuratively. I know that he has combat training, and that he can kill me, so there's something legally protecting myself when I believe there is a lethal threat, and from him, I fear death, so I will defend with death.

Other than that, he fed her today, I said thank you, he returned by calling me a douchebag, so yeah, and then started trying to tell her just how much he cared about her, and how much he doesn't want her as a girlfriend, but wants her as someone he can always rely on. The way he said it, it was basically, I want you as someone who I can dump my shit on, but I don't have to have sex with. That's how it came off to me when she read it to me. It made me very angry and want to punch him again.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who wants to pummel people like that.

Tell him to look up "douchebag" on Google, Nick; sounds like there should be a picture of him.

I read things like this and think to myself that is a benefit to being effectively separated from the complications and frustrations of social life by this mental disorder which makes me asocial, an extreme loner. Despite that, I still feel terribly lonely at other times. If I said "I don't get it" I'd be referring to the stories such as told above, my own mind, and more. That's life I guess.

Seems like the worse you treat a woman, the more she wants you for some reason.

CPH, it's both a curse and a blessing. To be fair for me, I only have 4 friends, they are all amazing friends, but along with friends comes problems, I know that's true, I've learned to deal with them in the best way possible. Hopefully she will realize he is an absolute asshole and not worth any amount of time.

And Tsu, the biggest difference than us, and most people, and us, by the way includes almost all of the forum members as far as I've seen, is that we aren't afraid of doing something about people like that, most people fear them, or fear peer pressure who want to say those people are cool, or impressive because they assert themselves, or something like that. We however, realize that the people who are defending them, are just as worthless as the people themselves.
