Problem is that when you see what you want to see. You miss the big guy with the big gun in front of you. Its a BLOCKADE, so then if you're running it you should expect the other side to enforce it. Though its highly possible that those runners were hoping to get a violent response so they could cry about it.

Highly possible? That's exactly why they did it. Remember, the rest of the middle east doesn't give a rats ass about the Palestinians. All they are is a way to make Israel look bad. If they thought they could give an Israeli commander nerve gas and he'd liquidate the entire group they'd do it in a heart beat.

Is that the show about a bunch of anti-Whalers who bumble around the Pacific Ocean completely failing to do anything useful? I saw a couple of episodes of that, and it was utterly hilarious.

I don't know how it was advertised in the US, but over here its tagline was "Rebels without a clue". I daresay the activists in question aren't too pleased with that.
