Yup. Voyager was trapped inside a black hole. They described the event horizon as being an incredibly powerful energy field, found a crack in it which they had made when they came in, and then fired a beam of "warp particles" at it to widen the crack and fly through.

Just saw the movie. Loved it. friggin' loved it. I'll do a better review later, but for now...
