I can see it now:
As the two survivors, Lt. Lazar and Chief Rochey rematerialize on the transporter, a phaser strikes out from the door, hitting Rochey in the chest killing him instantly.
"What the h*ll are you doing!" Lazar yelled
"you said there were founders, We eliminated one of you, and we'll be keeping a close watch on you until our sickbay teams can check you out." Captain Deepcrush replied
"We've already killed the founders!" Lazar yelles back looking at the latest fallen comrad. "And you could have had us both checked out!"
The Captain thinks for a second, "You know, you have a point...but I really wanted to shoot something."
