Yes. If you have a proper one fitted to your fist you can crack a skull open with a single punch.

If customes finds that in the mail they may ask us some questions. Is DITL a base from blackmarket weapons?

Any weighted object that fits in your hand adds mass to the impact (a roll of quarters is excellent  ), and more damage. The brass (or whatever metal) knuckles add material density and hardness to the equasion, coupled with the additional mass, times speed squared, with the force concentrated on the thin impact points... E=mc ouch.

Can I order a big-ass chain necklace with a "DITL4EVER" emblem in platinum? :)

I was wondering if you ever work in considerably less malleable metals, Teaos. Stuff like Osmium or Iridium, or alloys of them?

The only thing about brass knuckles is that they seem to be an inferior weapon even for the space they take up. For example a chemical spray weapon on an expandable batton that gives you valuable reach.

Or is their popularity that they're legal in a wider range of areas and/or that when using one it looks like you're fighting unarmed and thus doesn't escalate the situation.

Well that and they are cool.

You can have your name etched into them so when you punch someone on bone your name shows up. Or if you want to be more subtle have it say Bit*h.

Golf balls work, too.

Wouldn't it have to be engraved "H-C-T-I-B?"

Wouldnt golf balls hurt your hand on impact?

Yeah has to be inverted but thats not hard to do.

An would it show up better if the word was embossed rather than engraved?

I cant say I've ever actually punched someone with one hard enough to find out but I would think both would work fine. Embossing it may cause more damage than you'd like to.
