Soooooo, broken up with the girlfriend after three years. Basically, I said its going nowhere, as she actually showed more interest when I was with another girl before her. Apparently she was jealous. So what, once she got me it didn't f***ing matter??? And she has no idea what I mean by "it's going nowhere", because we should be enjoying ourselves while we're young. BUT she still wants to be with me and still loves me. She just doesn't show it, lies to me, and pretends we're not even together. So anyway I don't even know if this makes sense or why I'm writing it, I'm just pretty f***ed off with wasting three years of my life with someone that never actually wanted us to get anywhere!!!

I know how you feel, man. It sucks, but it's better to move along and find someone who wants the same things out of life you do.

Of course, this is assuming you've explained to her exactly what you want and expect from a relationship.

I have, countless times over the last couple of months. She constantly contradicts herself though, saying one thing, then doing another. Meh, on the bright side I'm getting further with looking into community charity work, so at least I can put my heart into something for a while that will mean something.

Sorry, because I know it sucks - but good on you, for deciding to get out of a situation that was dragging you down and moving on to things that will bring you up.

Such is life. Moving from something that appears to be a deadend. Some people stay in those relationships because they are so used to it. Good for you for moving on.

The charity thing I didn't think of, since when I did it I was drinking to forget.
