I am going to a BBQ and beer event today afterwork. I do nto know what the BBQ will cost, but it is all the beer you can drink for $5, lol. I am not expecting a quality brew...
It actually wasn't bad at first... but then it got SOOOOOOOO crowded (I assume because of the $5 cost) that it it was not even worth trying to get any beer. We left and hit the bars for a while instead.
My dad watches it every year in the hope one of the Scandinavians produce a metal/rockey hit. Rather disappointed only the Icelandics came even remotely close.
Living up to my inclination's reputation, I like watching the ridiculous levels of glamour and glitz involved. sure, In real life, I'd find it infuriatingly annoying but I just like to watch it. And the block voting shows one of the few ways that large parts of Europe can actually agree on something.
