I'm in the south pacific with water from Antarctica flowing up the coast, we're lucky to get the water temp above 12 degrees C. Hell further south you can see ice bergs sometimes.

We've got water flowing by our coast from Rochey's area - winters are usually 40-50 F, late summer up to about 70. A full 3-2 wetsuit usually does the trick for a few hours in all but the worst winters.
