We are currently receiving our 5th friggin' inch of rain in the last 36 hours.
And, my wife goes for pre-admissions testing on Thursday for surgery to repair her jejunum and remove some intestinal scar tissue. And, my sister-in-law may have found some pre-cancerous cells in her stomach. Happy Easter!

There is only one way of avoiding the war – that is the overthrow of this society. However, as we are too weak for this task, the war is inevitable. -L. Trotsky, 1939

Sorry I've been away. I've had a medical emergency. On sunday I gave myself chemical burns to my eyes by not properly rinsing my contacts after disinfecting them. I also had an allergic reaction to something in the chemical witch gave me something that looks like cobblestones inside my eyelids.
Bottom line, I can see shit. My eyes are insanely light sensative, and it hurts like hell looking at a TV or computer monitor. Still wanted to check in though so nobody would worry.
I'll pop on occasionally until I feel better and can see again,.

and walk like Frankenstein.
Yeah, but I've got a permenent scar across the cornea of my right eye now. If you look at me, you can't see it....but I can see it at the top of my field of vision.
And no contacts for two weeks to a month. Back to glasses now.
