Ex Astris Scientia have a poll running at present for best trek web site - needless to say my vote was for here. Just in case you haven't visited them recently
We're currently in second place, behind Memory Alpha. However, it seems that you can vote as many times as you like, it only limits you to one entry per IP address. Not that I want people to vote more than once.
We're in second place by a fair way. I wouldn't mind being behind memory Alpha, particularly, since it's the result of a mass collaboration. Being better than everybody else is one thing, but expecting to be better than everybody else put together is a bit much to hope for.
Give a man a fire, and you keep him warm for a day. SET a man on fire, and you will keep him warm for the rest of his life...
Man, looking at that list brings back old memories of trying to find Star Trek websites in the mid 90's. I can't believe LCARS is still around. And Utopia Planitia is back up? I wish I could remember all the other ones. Before Paramount went on a rampage and had quite a few sites shut down.
"Bible, Wrath of Khan, what's the difference?"
Stan - South Park
Trekmovies is third, impressive your beating that.

Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.
Other than EAS, I've never even heard of any of those sites. I took one look at DITL's main page and never bothered looking for another site.
There is only one way of avoiding the war – that is the overthrow of this society. However, as we are too weak for this task, the war is inevitable. -L. Trotsky, 1939
Maybe our high score will incite more people to come and check out the site.
"You've all been selected for this mission because you each have a special skill. Professor Hawking, John Leslie, Phil Neville, the Wu-Tang Clan, Usher, the Sugar Puffs Monster and Daniel Day-Lewis! Welcome to Operation MindFuck!"
As far as I can tell, there are only currently three worthwhile ST websites, this one, EAS and some of it's hosted sites, and Memory Alpha. I could count the Agony Booth, but that has expanded into other areas so that ST is just a small sub section of the site.
About ten years back, the commonly told joke was the internet was for Star Wars, Star Trek and porn. (When I got my broadband connection a couple of years back, one of the first things I found was EAS, and an article on there about the rapid decline in the numbers of ST websites.) Are there any other good sites out there I'm unaware of?
Memory Beta is a good read but not canon for the most part.

We were never going to win, MA had it in the bag, second is a good job though.

It has all the information you'll ever need on trek. Its a wikia.

MA is the Trek version of Wikipedia. Loads of stuff on it, great for looking stuff up quickly.
