Check Rochey's location; he doesn't frink Bud, he has Harp for Breakfast, Smithwick's for lunch, and Guinness for dinner.
JK, Rochey - I know you're not a drinker.

Re: What ever happened to.....
Well they did observe Kirk and company as well, so they had more to go on than that.
When the DS9 folks decided they wanted Sisko and his officers stuck into a TOS setting, that was actually one of the proposals they came up with - go back there and find everybody looking and acting like TOS people. Then an FX guy showed them a clip from TOS that he'd digitally composited an actor into, and promised that they could do that cheaply enough that they could put the DS9 actors into an actual episode of the original series. And that's how Trials and Tribbleations came about.

It worked out pretty well.

Yeah, and they got the lighting perfect, with all the pastels on the gray paneling.
BTW, Dax wanted to boink Kirk right? But doesn't she seem too strong-willed for him? His conquests are always soft and vulnerable stereotypes, where as Dax can 'handle' Worf pretty easily.

Really? It's been quite a while. I meant it was no surprise that Dax wanted to boink someone. ![Wink ](./images/smilies/icon_wink.gif)

I remember that shot of her in the Defiant's corridor, modeling the old miniskirt uniform. "And women wore less..."
And then her modeling the old-style tricorder...

Re: What ever happened to.....
Very fun episode.
What does defeat mean to you?
Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.

My favorite line in that episode?
The lady in the turbolift to Bashir "Your flap is open"
Surprised me also that she was referring to a the tricorder.
