Death threats levelled at whole countries don't count

Good to know.
No trees were killed in transmission of this message. However, some electrons were mildly inconvenienced.

I say leave the whole damn region to it's own devices. Let 'em all form their own little agglomerations, and duke it out as they will. Sooner or later we'll be left with the true King of the Dune.

Once the oil runs out, that's just exactly what is going to happen there. It will be almost comical to watch them all scream and cry when they realise that the west no longer gives a flying fart what happens in their region.Mikey wrote:I say leave the whole damn region to it's own devices. Me and Mikey may be able to laugh for awhile but when they flood through Turkey into Europe looking for what they consider rightfully theirs I doubt may of us will be laughing.
What does defeat mean to you?
Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.

Speaking of which, the Turks have been collapsing for hundreds of years. It seems like Kurdistan is bound to happen one way or another.
How many Minbari does it take to screw in a lightbulb?
None. They always surrender right before they finish the job and never tell you why.

Doubt very much we will see that, any more than you see people pouring in vast numbers out of the African hellholes. When things go really bad people tend to just curl up and die where they are or just next door.Teaos wrote:Me and Mikey may be able to laugh for awhile but when they flood through Turkey into Europe looking for what they consider rightfully theirs I doubt may of us will be laughing.

I could see it happening, not a forceful invasion as such so much as a mass migration and with that will come problems.

I doubt it. As Graham pointed out, there's no mass emigration from the various African nations. And seeing as how these people have been thought from birth that West = source of all evil, I think numbers will be even less than the Africans.
