Well it could've been because we are fighting the Dominion, are on a mission to spy on the Dominion, and that Starfleet usually doesn't admit murderers into it's ranks?

I just told you how he came to that conclusion. The strangulation marks could only have been made by a Founder, at least thats the only thing I can think of that would leave a perfectly smooth strangulation.

And I'm with Rochey, lets sleep. And I'll volunteer for first shift, and wake someone else later.
I just hope I don't fall asleep.

Oh, because I was the only one here smart enough to think its a founder it must be me? If I were a founder why the hell would I bring it up?

Well, I think that it would be a bad idea for us to be alone, or even in pairs. You remember what happened that time onboard Defiant, right? I say no-one goes anywhere unless it's with 2 other people. That should give us all better survivability odds, right?

And I'm sorry for jumping the gun on the crime sceen, but how was I supposed to know that it WAS a crime seen, till I checked out the Skipper?

After a confused debate the crew, frazzled and frightened, agree to take a rest. MeMyself&I stands watch over his sleeping crew mates.

Time passes without incident. After several hours, MeMyself&I begins to notice a certain tang in the air. The circulation system should be working properly, he thinks to himself. He stands from his seat and begins to cross the mess hall, trying hard to soften the landings of his heavy boots. He manages to miss most of the blankets, but kicks Rochey's arm by accident.

Rochey stirs, looks up, and whispers, "Thanks pal. It took me forever to fall asleep down here! What's going on then?"

"Do you smell that? Something's not right," says MeMyself&I. Rochey sits up quietly and peers for something, although he's not sure what to be looking for.

Teaos shatters the quiet with a deep groan. "Who's gone and--"

"Computer, lights up full!" Rochey's shouting is punctuated by a sudden, oppressive glare from the ceiling. Everyone is awake and disoriented now.

"Reliant!" shouts Stitch. Next to Stitch lies a blue-white figure, still as a statue.

[Teaos]

What the hell happened? Who was on watch?

I was. I was going to check the circulation systems. Do you notice an odd smell? On my way I bumped into Rochey and thus we all woke up.

[Teaos]

I heard a noise but I dont know if that was you guys or something else.

*looks at the blue body*

Looks like he's been dead for awhile...

Hey, what's going on? Crap, what happened to Reliant? Didn't anybody hear anything??? MM&I, didn't you SEE anything???

See anything? No. Smell something? yes. The air circulator has been shut off.

[Mark]

Where are the controls for the air circulator???

[Teaos]

It being shut off wouldnt cause the smell, it must be something else.

The smell might just be his corpse. Though I doubt he's been dead long enough to start decomposing.

Well, since MM&I didn't see anyone coming in, I think it's safe to say that someone here is a Founder, or some sort of shapeshifter. But who?
