Those at least have a perfectly reasonable OOU explanation: to facilitate getting in some good beauty shots of the ship. Not sure we have as good an explanation as that for the space buses.

I heard about those concrete ships. Pretty weird.

That makes as much sense as a screen door on a battleship

:::someone wispers in the background:::

A submarine you idiot

Oh, sorry. About as much sense as a submarine on a battleship :jester:

I like what it is too. I've slowly been writing fan fiction in free time during school conferences, teacher days, etc. Its a Nova class leading a team of Oberths in a particularly anomaly-dense region. I'll be picking that up again when I go back to work starting tomorrow. Fun shyte.

Well, he did declare victory over terrorism in 2002. But that could just be us not understanding his terms of victory. He did tank the US economy and ruin what little education we had left. But again, I would think we just don't understand his greater plan. :roll:

I think the travel pods would be a more 'traditional' thing for shuttling the senior officers, and for a visual inspection of the ship.

Would anyone notice? More to the point, would it make even the slightest difference?

The act of losing it would require him to have had it in the first place.

Hmm, good point. After watching him attempt that african dance, I began to wonder.
