Re: Russia to outlaw emo
Stereotypical crap.
Goth - Musically, it is more metal than anything. Clothing tends to be masculine and baggy, sometimes leather and often black or red. Hair is not relevant
Emo - Musically, a watered down metal with concentration on lyrics. often has screaming in it. Clothing is always tight to the body, skinny jeans and the like. Band tees are common, as are the colours black, red, white, pink, purple and occasionally green. Fringe is normally in front of one eye, often black but not always. Studded belts are a plus.

Ah gotcha.
How many Minbari does it take to screw in a lightbulb?
None. They always surrender right before they finish the job and never tell you why.

oh for heavens sake. i'll post a picture of mine later.
Re: Russia to outlaw emo
Actually it looks like part of the likely emo ban law will be website regulation. Which would imply Russia has/will have Chinese government style internet control. Which would be a part of the general backslide we've been seeing out of Russia.
Rochey seems to think this is business as usual but considering the business as usual with Russia seems to involve nuclear bombing drills I'd really rather pass.
Also emos out protesting. For what good it'll do them, at least they tried.

They do seem to be suffering from some naivity though.

A: Well their law will shut down an array or websites, probably music sales, and then more importantly they're making it illegal to dress that way in government builidngs and schools. So they'll probably just ask you to change first and then if need follow up with a little."How can you stop people from expressing themselves, from dressing how they like, from living a way of life that doesn't harm anyone?"

Maybe it's just the new digital age. But it seems like a waste we don't have a video of that on youtube...Reliant121 wrote:The obliterated pillow lying at the end of my bed, along with the decapitated paddington bear stand testiment to my anger.
sometimes i think i need anger management.
I could still quite happily bomb them to hell.
Poor padington gave his life for naught.
