How many hours Trek do you watch a week?
I'm curious to know how many hours you all watch of Trek, a week?
Fortunately, the Mrs is into it as well so probably through lack of anything better on and having a digital TV recorder, we tend to watch at the very least 7 hours a week. Is that sad? Currently, it's between DS9 and TNG (on Sky TV in the UK), both mid-series at the moment.

None, in fact I doubt I watch even 2 hours a year now.

I watch clips on youtube but it would be several months since I have watched an episode end to end.
What does defeat mean to you?
Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.

Zero. Unless it's a particularly good episode that I know will be on, I don't really bother.

Zero as well. I did a marathon of ENT little over a year ago, that's why I came to check out DITL and didn't leave :p
How many Minbari does it take to screw in a lightbulb?
None. They always surrender right before they finish the job and never tell you why.

More or less dependent on syndication and my own schedule, I'd say 2 - 3 hrs./week.

Nothing, most of the time. I occassionally check which eps of TNG are being repeated, but largely don't bother. Besides, I think Striker is watching enough for the entire forum.

Re: How many hours Trek do you watch a week?
The only one of the series I find on regularly now at a watchable hour is Voyager, with DS9 repeats on at 2 am. I'm not going to stay up just to watch Trek right now. I do have the complete series of TNG and DS9 on my external HDD, though.
So, to answer the question, not a whole lot. If I'm interested in one of a day's Voyager eps that's on, I might watch, otherwise I'm just as happy doing something else.
In any case, it seems like we've all seen enough Trek already to keep us running a while, based on the way we discuss minutiae, often from memory.

They don't show 'Trek reruns on broadcast TV here, so I don't see any.

The only episodes I can ever seem to find over here are VOY and ENT. So it shouldn't be any surprise that I don't bother.

Yeah. I can get DS9 if I stay up in the 2am-3am hour, but that's a little far to go.Rochey wrote:The only episodes I can ever seem to find over here are VOY and ENT. So it shouldn't be any surprise that I don't bother.

Barely 2 hours. I try to catch Voyager. I feel I may have missed out on some great things. Same with Enterprise. I gave Voyager a long first look, and Enterprise not so much. But now I'll give them a second go-around when I have the time.

Re: How many hours Trek do you watch a week?
Average week, I'm not so sure anymore. It's so hit or miss. But in the last 365 days, I have watched The Next Generation start to finish (178 episodes), the movies through at least once, probably 50 episodes of voyager, 30 of DS9, 15 of Enterprise, and some more repeats of The Next Generation on TV. I'd say 300 hours is not unreasonable. So that being the case, we'd be looking at about 6 episodes/hours a week.
Today, I watched 1 episode of Voyager, the last 15 minutes of "The Inner Light" (which was on TV), and am about to watch DS9. Tomorrow I'll end up watching 1 or 2 of Enterprise and probably the 2 Voyagers. So, I suppose that's a lot =)
*EDITS* Damn it, Spike TV is showing one of the newer Bond movies instead of the 2AM DS9. :Shakes fist:
