May I ask where you got it and what you can do with it? I'm looking at "military history" as a field-of-study.

I'm not sure what my trade equals to in the civvie world, a technician I suppose. It's about the same amount of schooling as one of those one year high intensity college courses.

Impressive. Forgive the ignorance, but how different is it working with silver than say in gold/white gold/platinum? I'm sure you'll say "completely and utterly different" but I'm sorta curious.

I have a BA in French from Newcastle University.

Some of my earlier stuff is also Spanish but I switched from major-minor French Spanish to single hons French. I'm not even sure why I switched now it's so long ago. :|

Now I'm curious who said "no and they don't need one".

My professions don't require a degree, but I'd like a few, just to expand my knowlege.

My dad doesn't have a degree, and he designs security systems that would make criminals cry. Of course, he has been working with computers since the green screen (saw it once, and all I got was a headache).

Sometimes I forget how old I am.

White, green and orange were the only colors available (besides higher end stuff) when I was a kid, so that's mostly what I saw growing up.
