World's Tallest Building

Post by Tsukiyumi »

I've been tracking this for a while now, but it just recently became the tallest man-made structure ever built. I think it's insane, personally. Very cool, but insane nonetheless.

Dubai is so cool.

Giant buildings, man made islands, green power.

A role model to the rest of the middle east.

No doubt. They're a damn sight better than most countries in the region.

Like I said, insane, but cool. It's considerably taller than a supercarrier is long. Of course, they're already talking about a mile-high building...

They ahve been talking about stuff like that for ages. I doubt it will happen.

Maybe one to prove we can but they wont be the new sky scraper. There is no profit in them. City-scrapers will never come to be.

I wouldn't have a problem with the hight. I'd have a problem with the country or rather the region its in. Just too tempting and too vulnerable a target.

Yeah, I couldn't live in the Middle East. But I voted "yes" because I absolutely could live in that tower.

Given your background that's probably a literal statement.

Actually come to think of it cool as that tower is I think I'd rather have a place with a yard you know?

However for a vacation? Heck yes.

They have an outdoor swimming pool on the 78th floor. It's not a yard, but hey...

I'd live there, but only if the elevators are working.

Am I sad to find this much more impressive?

If I was a lego man I'd have to be very brave to live at the top of that.

Honestly, if I lived the that building, the Dubai one, I'd throw-up every morning. (Altophobia, can't help it. Still enjoy roller-coasters, go figure.)
