I'm still trying to figure out what the friggin' difference is between liberal and conservative, to be blunt.

I dunno, really. I never gave it much thought to what my leanings are.

Liberals want an Utopian future
Conservatives want a glorified past

I remember an old joke/observation. "A liberal is a conservative who hasn't been robbed."

A liberal is also a conservative who isn't terrified of everyting.

I've heard a lot of the little snippets like that.... "if you're young and conservative, you don't have a heart, if you're older and liberal, you don't have a brain", etc. Most of them are snide little condescensions from conservatives about how being liberal is naive, immature, unrealistic or unintelligent.

That's basically a nice way of saying anarchist. Oh he's a racist as well, though I don't count that as a political ideology in it's self, it fits in nice with a few of them though. Like conservative.

Actually, this guy's excuse to try and avoid having anyone argue against him was that Graham and Ian would be arrested if we discussed the matter. Once Seafort et. al. shed the truth, we let him have it.
