Whats worse is new laws always get added but old ones almost never get taken off the books.

The idea that governments (high courts at least) are just "too busy" to clean out all those out-of-date laws strikes me as pure laziness.

" Review vote on item 125-A: old law about shooting welshmen. How do you vote?"

All: " Get rid of it."

Wow, that takes all of fifteen seconds. America has the same problem, for sure.

Read the first page. Some new law in Maine makes it illegal to look at "children", though it throws teenagers in the same category (I find that ignorant).

Funny law in NY: It is (technically) illegal to chew bubblegum and walk backwards at the same time.
Honestly, no idea why.
