If that's a fake, it's damn well done. Thoughts?

If it is, they certainly have a hollywood-level effects program. I'm sure not saying it's an alien spacecraft; it could easily be an advanced prototype. Which begs the question of why they'd fly anywhere near a commercial flight...

I assure you; it isn't real.
Why is no one on the plane commenting on it?
Why is it flying dangerously close to a civilian craft?
How is it twirling around in the air, yet still keeping level with the aircraft?
How the hell does it move, anyway?
Why choose such an un-aerodynamic shape?
Where are the engines?
Fake. Well done, but blatantly fake.

That's what I said. Why would it fly so close to the plane?Rochey wrote:I assure you; it isn't real.

As to its propulsion, there are a number of (admittedly difficult) possibilities like advanced thrust-vectoring ports. Aerodynamically, it's not the best, but would make for a manuverable design.
It more than likely a fake, for sure, as we've stated. I personally can't say that with absolute certainty, though.

Also, the shape is so stereotypical: the perfect little flying saucer. It's exactly the sort of hackneyed idea that a very un-original person would use for a UFO hoax. Not only does it lack engines, it lacks any visible features at all.
Nobody has the first damn clue what an actual alien ship would look like - but it's far more likely than not that it WONT be a flying saucer.

True, but there's simply no way for something like that to keep place with what I'm guessing is a large commercial plane.Tsu wrote:As to its propulsion, there are a number of (admittedly difficult) possibilities like advanced thrust-vectoring ports. Look if it's an alien ship we can't say anything about speed and manuverabiltiy.
However we do know humans and who, upon seeing a UFO outside the window, will proceed to quitley film it with their camera instead of pointing it out to the other passengers?
And I don't think it would take that fancy of equipment to do. You could either film on the ground with either a sky like backdrop or bluescreen. Or you could probably just edit the thing in later since you just need to add the UFO to the image. Seriously that's blurry enough they could probably just take a UFO model against a black background and just add the uncompressed video together.

True, but they still have to obey the laws of physics.Look if it's an alien ship we can't say anything about speed and manuverabiltiy.
I've always wondered why so many aliens apparently seem so interested in visiting our planet for no other reason than hovering around in front of cameras. I mean, how many rednecks do you need to abduct?
