The DMA—is it the Kelvans?
Major threat from outside the galaxy. The Kelvans would be a great tie-in, like how the episode “Unification P. III” was. Hopefully, if anything, they don’t gloss over who the threat actually is, the way they did with the artificial life forms in the wormhole at the end of Picard.

Not a bad idea. I'm not sure they would go with it or just invent their own species.

As of episode 10, still no idea who species 10-C might actually be.
Waaay too much exposition and time wasting, especially after more than a month break in the middle of the season.
A few episodes of the final season of Picard will air back to back with the last episodes of Discovery. Will be interesting to see if they attempted to link them somehow. (Same back to back airings of the last episodes of Picard with Strange New Worlds...go figure!)
