test shows for Star Trek: Picard may have been a contributing factor as the show was allegedly polling an 80% negative favorability rate, with the 20% who tested positive apparently labeling themselves as “Abrams fans.”

I wish I could say I was surprised.
The rumours are not kind to CBS. Of course they're just rumours right now, so give them the credence you think they deserve.

Do we have a legitimate source? What is Midnight Edge's record so far?

Strictly rumour at this point. Time will tell.

Something positive happening. I will say that Doomcock and Nerdrotic have very good (but not perfect) records of reporting. I will still say rumour but with a better that 50% chance of being true.

Well, This is at a year old and... nothing, so...

Re: Rumor: CBS Fires Kurtzman From All Things Star Trek, Picard
Funny in the past year I have been following Midnight's Edge and Doomcock and both were right on point about many things specifically The Rise of Skywalker.
Current rumor mill I got from Doomcock is that Picard and Discovery isn't putting up numbers that were expected. The announcement of Strange New Worlds is nothing but an attention sealing bluff. Generated enough attention then they will go with it but it will probably go the way of the Section 31 series.

I’ve heard that a Pike show may be in the works as well as the section 31 idea?McAvoy wrote: ↑Sat Jun 06, 2020 3:38 am Funny in the past year I have been following Midnight's Edge and Doomcock and both were right on point about many things specifically The Rise of Skywalker.

From what Doomcock said in one of his most recent videos (he has been right about alot of things rumor wise) that Section 31 is just something to drum up interest in Trek. Pike is starting to look like it to.00111010 01000100 wrote: ↑Sat Jun 06, 2020 2:52 pmI’ve heard that a Pike show may be in the works as well as the section 31 idea?McAvoy wrote: ↑Sat Jun 06, 2020 3:38 am Funny in the past year I have been following Midnight's Edge and Doomcock and both were right on point about many things specifically The Rise of Skywalker.

If he is right I think it's also possible a second season of Picard may not be made.
Mind you, Doomcock is very very critical of anything that resembles SJW. If Midnight's Edge confirms this, then it's bad. Midnight's Edge tried to be neutral as far as politics are concerned.

How much of the negative is from the plots, and how much from it only being offered on CBS online?
Would the numbers be better if each episode was offered on CBS online first then on TV CBS a week or two later?
