What the fuck is going on across the pond?! I really have no issue with a conservative resurgence after shit like this...

Only just saw this on the BBC website.
And it's not like you guys never suffer terrorism over there, right?

Oh I get it... we get plenty of it here... and crazy white kids shooting up schools. I think the level of these type of attacks seems way more severe in Europe, though. Not a criticism at all, good god I have no idea what the US would do if thrown into some of the situations that modern Europe has to deal with - but I can understand why people scream for closed borders, etc. (Yes, I know we have NO evidence this is foreign, but lets look at recent history...)

I honestly don't care in which country this took place - despicable is despicable no matter the locale.

Exactly. The UK or US, this was a horrible, disgusting act of violence.Mikey wrote:I honestly don't care in which country this took place - despicable is despicable no matter the locale.

A man who responded to the attacks by donating blood was interviewed outside.

Not to make light if the situation, but good god, you give that guy a mop top and he's the third Gallagher brother.

Well, laughter does help sometimes. And you're not making fun of the bombing itself. And you're right. He would be.Bryan Moore wrote:Not to make light if the situation, but good god, you give that guy a mop top and he's the third Gallagher brother.

I knew one of the victims. Not overly well but enough that it was surprisingly more real. Deplorable act, regardless. RIP.
