Haha awesome. I have a close friend/mentor/travelling project manager like that. A glass of Johnny Black turns to a bottle Balvennie 17 quick.Mikey wrote:Oh, FFS. Last night went from, "The VP of sales is in town, he's taking the office out for a quick drink" to "Shots, bitches!" in nothing flat.

Oh, I get it! You mispronounced the word sauer in order to intentionally conflate it with the word "sewer," thereby intimating that I drank the contents of a sewer! The sophistication and cleverness of your humor truly knows no limits. I just beg you to stop, I don't think my ribs could stand another such salvo of hilarity.IanKennedy wrote:Did you mean sewer, if so I would drink less next time.

*EDIT* But yeah, I do have a tendency toward willingness to drink anything with a label on it. I wasn't expecting the beer, though - my boss asked what I wanted from the bar of the tap room at which we had ended up, and I asked for a 70/-. She came back with something which wasn't and said, "I lived in Belgium, damnit, I know what kind of beer you want better than you do." She was absolutely correct.
Oh how I'd kill for a Scotch egg right now!Mikey wrote:Most people on this forum wouldn't know what a Scotch egg is, but you wouldn't use a different term for one if you were describing a scenario involving one.
