At least the moon fills the basic physical requirement of a planet.

The barest flicker of intelligence?Mikey wrote:Yes, that's been making all the interweb rounds. However, we should bear something in mind before we get all riled up about it: this wasn't a conversation held on Cosmos or in an astronomy lecture... it was between a host and a fshion designer on a home shopping channel. What exactly were we expecting?

Well, I've known of plenty of people that didn't know these things, though mostly in secondary school. (Which to be honest really doesn't excuse it does it)Graham Kennedy wrote: It's not like that's high level stuff, after all - it's the equivalent of knowing enough biology to know what a mammal is, or enough geography to know where Africa is on a map.

Lars Andersen: a new level of archery but, what Lars has really done is study old archery manuscripts and all the way back to ancient Syrian wall paintings to learn how the archers of old did their archery. Answer: Hollywood archery is shit compared to the ancients. Actually the ancient archers might have been closer to Legolas. Lars is particularly more interested in demonstrating archery on the move, which he does. He also tries to outdo the most famous arrow shot in fiction.
