Probably the equivalent to Redshirts...i'm gonna term them as MercShirts now...ChakatBlackstar wrote:That's great for stories, in fact all of my stories are cliffhangers, but it's annoying in an RPG.Reliant121 wrote:Right...yes Colin was the bald one...not the baraster (poor spelling).
I always end on a cliffhanger because i took an extra-curricular fictional compilation course (How to write stories better)....They always recommend cliff-hangers...
And who's the human and Klingon that were just added?

Okay, now that everyone's on board, we'll need to start handing out jobs to people. Despite this being a merc ship, people will still need to be assigned to do different jobs, depending on their experience.
Cech, obviously, will probably act as chief engineer on the ship.
Talora will probably fill in best with medical stuff, given her past career was as a medic in Starfleet (correct?).
Not too sure about Gunny.
Same with Bossk, no idea what he'll be doing.
Don't know enough about Jabber to make a proper suggestion.
Any other ideas/thoughts/comments?

Yeah they're mercshirts. A while back we were talking about how many we should have. I'm thinking somewhere in the teens.
Most would probably spend more of their time on ship maintenence and then helping with cargo. Though I'm getting the feeling they're just as likely to be in a boarding action. Which is probably where Bossk comes in. But otherwise he'd be useful with heavy stuff.

Okay, update on the Mikey situation. Turns out he may not be leaving after all, Thorin's leaving instead. I've posted details in Mikey's leaving thread.
