To think the original Kickstarter was "Give me $50,000 or I eat this bunny."
Also Levar Burton's Reading Rainbow Kickstarter was the fastest ever to $1 million (the Kickstarter's original goal) and on it's July 2nd deadline ended up with $5,408,916 with celebrities like Seth McFarlane promising to donate $1 million.

I heard that wasn't even to bring back the show but to create some app you have to pay for.
