Twenty years ago today was race day of the 1994 San Marino Grand Prix, held at Imola. That weekend was one of the worst in Formula One history. Roland Ratzenberger was killed during qualifying for the race, and Ayrton Senna during the race itself.
RIP, both of them.

Only two things are infinite - the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the universe: Albert Einstein.

Indeed, a tragic weekend. However safety in F1 has become much more important after those two accidents. Although safety did come at the cost of less spectacular races.

Better less spectacular than fatalities.

Besides which there have been races just as spectacular as the best of Senna and Prost in the last few years.
