They don't make 'em like they used to. I'm happy today is a day to open the doors and windows though: the long and harsh winter seems to have abated. Yesterday and today we've had nice conditions into the low 60's (around 16C), though a bit windy. It's refreshing to get out without a jacket, let alone heavy winter coat.RK_Striker_JK_5 wrote:Well, the old door frame... actually wasn't attacked to the house. It was just... wedged in.

I got back from Captain America: Winter Soldier. Incredible movie, almost no missteps. And any that were there were too small for me to notice.

Watched "Transcendence" last week. Not as good as I had hoped for, not as bad as I feared, kinda 'meh'. If you want to see it, go during matinee, or when it is released at a discount theater.

Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.

Met a girl tonight. Highly intelligent. She is studying bio chemistry. Slightly taller than me where I am five foot ten inches.
Very beautiful overall IMO intellectually and physically

Back from Florida. Had a great time, weather was 85-95 F (30-35 C). Stayed dry were we where. Key West was lovely, will certainly go back.

Re: What's the latest in people's lives?
So I haven't been around a whole lot lately. This last semester has been very busy finishing up my degree and prepping for Grad School. I'm officially headed to North Carolina (Raleigh) next year for graduate school. I've still got a lot of work to do between now and then, including making sure I pass all of my finals next week so I can graduate. Assuming that goes well I'll basically be taking the summer off. One of my older classmates and his wife just bought a house so I've volunteered my services to helping repaint, carpeting, etc.
I'm looking forward to having a summer mostly just to myself, I've spent every summer since my freshman year doing some kind of schooling or research on top of my summer job at the time.
So anyone on here from the Raleigh area?

In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move.
