Yeah, we know.

Although getting back to the topic... yeah.There's a possibility I wouldn't be here, since my grandfather was in the Pacific Theater.

One of mine were. Not sure what exactly anymore. He died 30 years ago and my Dad rarely talks about him. My Mom's side, he was in Germany. Perhaps he would have had transferred but if i remember I might ask him.

Problem is that the Japanese didn't stick to the fight early on. They hit the US... then pulled back to their corner of the world and left the US free to do as it pleased. However instead of gaining leverage as they could have, they simply pissed off the nation as a whole.
