Whatever it is, I hope everything turns out OK... or at least, tolerable.Tsukiyumi wrote:Things have gone south for me at a rapid pace lately; I might not be around for a while. I've got real life business to attend to.

It really is a pleasure to just scent the air after I've mowed that patch - the only problem is that where the mint grows, the grass doesn't, and ground ivy propagates by rhizomes. Killing what appears to be one plant is nothing more than the equivalent of taking one leaf from an oak.RK_Striker_JK_5 wrote:Good luck, Tsuki.
Mike, don't worry too much about the lawn, Just stop and smell the ivy.
Last autumn was better. I have five weeping willows on my property, and had just finished raking up 6,000 square feet worth of tiny willow leaves and who-knows how many willow twigs. I got everything bagged and put out by the curb and stopped before stowing my rake to have a smoke. I stood and looked up, and one lone willow leaf floated lazily out of the sky to land on my chest... I couldn't ascribe any feeling to that moment save for a sense of the universe gently whispering, "F*ck you, Mike."Captain Seafort wrote:Proof if any more were needed that the universe has a sense of humour.
