Re: Spacebattles.com Rant
Oh, yeah. The poker game is an awesome way to get the characters to know one another. Have them learn Pyramid, too.
Re: Spacebattles.com Rant
Kara Thrace, in any real military in the world, never have earned a commission, and likely never would have made it past basic training.
To me, as much as I like nBSG, the actors didn't have the same charisma as the original. As you guys said, Starbuck could slide into almost any social situation, and was a compatant warrior, not in need of medication.
Here's a card game for you.
Han Solo
Starbuck
Will Riker
Londo Molari
Teal'c
Omg, as I wrote that the entire character interchage went through my head.
Striker....lets put our heads together and begin creating and fleshing out the Starfleet ship and crew. Anyone's imput is welcome.
I'm thinking a GCS, taking place a year of so after Romulas is destroyed. It is the logical long range exploritory ship, and could handle the exploration of the damage done to the Beta Quadrant. It's tough, but not over the top. Has room for likely half the surviors I'd guess off the top of my head, and everyone is familiar with it.

Re: Spacebattles.com Rant
I'm heading off for the night, but I'll say some stuff first...
Galaxy is good idea. Maybe one of the uprated ones from the Dominion War? As for a crew... I wanna say Vulcan for the Captain, so Starbuck can play off him... her. Yeah. A female Vulcan.
If you want to, that is. Just suggesting it. ![Smile :)](./images/smilies/icon_smile.gif)

Re: Spacebattles.com Rant
That's an intriuging idea. I've never done that, and don't immedietly remember anyone else doing it.
Striker....I'll bang out some character profiles for the main cast, and PM'em to you for your imput.

Sma's drone from Use Of Weapons, I believe.

Send away, Mark. Sounds interesting. In a good way.
Re: Spacebattles.com Rant
Striker, I had a thought...........wanna use one of the crews from Daystrom? I was thinking the crew of the Ravage. Ready made.

Not sure if I can comment, since I've never participated in the Daystrom RPs.Mark wrote:Striker, I had a thought...........wanna use one of the crews from Daystrom? I was thinking the crew of the Ravage. Ready made.

It would indeed be humerous.
"Lt. Blackstar, service number: Alpha 56445B is missing in action.
And there was much rejoicing."
