One thing I loved about this episode was how dark it was. The V soldier was extremely frightening (as it should be) and Ana's daughter could be completely turning around and going to help the fifth column. I wish that it wasn't going to just be a miniseries with how great they are doing with it right now.
Could it be a miniseries turning into a series, i.e. nBSG?

That would be awesome, especially with all the background characterization they've been doing, they certainly could make it a full series and I would watch it.

Agreed with Nick - while it may be cliche, the whole bit about the good guys doing things that the bad guys are supposed to do was well played. Except for Hobbes - he's pretty used to doing bad things.

Hobbes is one of the people I like as a good guy because he's supposed to do bad things, but he's doing them for the right reasons. Such as he tortures the guy, but it's to save everyone.

And I was really hoping that we would see some real V bodies, and at the end of the episode, I was just like, Nooooo. It just stopped, it was so sudden... :(

Can't wait til next week.

I'd be a bit iffy about that, myself. nBSG's miniseries was made with continuing it as a series in mind. V, to my knowledge, wasn't.

I'm not too sure on that myself. While I love the quality of the show, the story is written for a definite (and not too distant) denoument.

Aye, that's what I was thinking. Trying to extend a show beyond the arc its creator had already planned out can lead to bad things.

As B5 demonstrated handily if half what I've heard is accurate.

Aye, the final series was...poor. The last episode was pretty good, though.

Just as Enterprise had a great final episode (Terra Prime) and there are only two series of BSG.

I was talking about the quality of the ep and its original placement. But thanks anyways.

Was it? That certainly makes a lot more sense.

I liked the last episode but it had some meh moments. Overall I liked that the good guys aren't necessarily playing nice. Downside, the soldier is talked up a lot, major trail of destruction, humans haven't seen one, could be a problem... and he's an average looking schlub who causes less damage than the exploding spikey ball at the end of the second episode. Meh.

I find it interesting that being around humans seems to be enough to start the lizard people down the road to love. Maybe the lizards aren't without emotions, they're simply societaly conditioned to repress them, or something.

With three episodes left I'm really wondering just how the hell they're going to wrap this up.
