Yeah, I guess the emotional trauma is not as bad... I can't imagine it being delightful though...
Re: V 2009
Just saw the last episode on hulu, and it's getting pretty good. I hope the writing continues the way it has been. I liked the way that the fifth column was called together, and hopefully it will only get better.

Yeah, I just thought that the need for the magic potion to save Ryan's GF felt a little contrived as a reason to get him on the ship.Nickswitz wrote:Just saw the last episode on hulu, and it's getting pretty good. I kind of liked that, to give him an incentive, and I didn't like that they killed Georgie off (I think, is he dead?)Mikey wrote:Yeah, I just thought that the need for the magic potion to save Ryan's GF felt a little contrived as a reason to get him on the ship.Nickswitz wrote:Just saw the last episode on hulu, and it's getting pretty good. But it is fairly good, and they aren't relying too much on the technology, but more intellect, which I like.

Re: V 2009
This last episode was so dark... I mean they pretty much had the death of two guys revealed, as well as destroying the families, and also having Anna birthing all the babies, for some reason I have a feeling that Earth doesn't stand a chance unless in that other army there are a lot more of the fifth column. Otherwise, Earth is pretty much screwed.

I have a feeling that if this series doesn't get a move on the viewers are going to be screwed with a Deus Ex Machina type finish.

Yeah, considering the humans are already up against some serious odds.... I have a feeling that the human/V baby will have an importance in the arch somewhere.Tyyr wrote:I have a feeling that if this series doesn't get a move on the viewers are going to be screwed with a Deus Ex Machina type finish.

Yeah, this last ep sort of felt mired in a bunch of "Ooh! Look at my dark past!" Plus, Georgie's Heroic Death.TMTyyr wrote:I have a feeling that if this series doesn't get a move on the viewers are going to be screwed with a Deus Ex Machina type finish.

Re: V 2009
Which if this was going to be a long running series would be perfectly fine. This is a 13 episode mini-series and we're already at the mid point. I could be talking out my ass but at this point I don't think the series has the time to wallow in an episode like this.
Re: V 2009
Last nights episode was awesome.
We have like three plot twists and IMO it fully makes up for the slow episode of last week. It's also finally getting us to fully understand what the heck Anna is doing.

It was interesting to see her pushing for political clout and not simply goodwill/putting out minds at ease.
I was hoping they weren't going to kill off the blonde. Lizard or not she's hot.

Yeah gotta agree with that last one.
Re: V 2009
I loved the episode from last night, it was really good. This series is turning out to be really great.
One thing I loved about this episode was how dark it was. The V soldier was extremely frightening (as it should be) and Ana's daughter could be completely turning around and going to help the fifth column. I wish that it wasn't going to just be a miniseries with how great they are doing with it right now.
