Yeah, if their was one lesson that we should learn from the latest financial crash its that more regulation is needed. Which is likely why places like Canada made out better then the US.

Exactly. To use an analogy that I've used before, our current "deregulated" system is about the same as trusting convicted child molesters to run a day care. Suuuuure they won't do anything inappropriate...
