Jedi is not a recognized religion in the UK. There was a census and the general rule is they recognize it if it gets more than a certain amount of people putting it down as their religion, but they specifically said that wasn't going to be the case for made up stuff like this. It was never recognized.

Um, which religion, exactly, isn't "made up stuff?" In a philosophical sense, man created G-d as much as G-d created man. I'm comfortable saying that my religion was "made up," as was any other. It doesn't invalidate one's belief to say that the form of worship is artifical.
