Publicity obviously. And trying to cast themselves and the Israelis in the light of the evil land grabbers and the innocent natives.

Actually while the reality is far from as simple as Avatar the situation isn't always so far off.

Personally I think the Palestinians should consider taking a different tack. While whining about how unfair things are does tug at the heartstrings, what you'll do afterwards has more bearing with governments.

Contrast them to Kosovo where they built Clinton a freakin' statue, kissed posters of Bush, and are probably going to let us keep our military base there and do what we like for as long as we like no questions asked.

I don't see the Palestinians puckering up for Obama.
