Of course. Jews were a large part of Germanic citizenry throughout the history of a Germany since it was a distinct nation from the Holy Roman Empire. They were still German citizens at the occurence of Krystallnacht, and most disenfranchisement didn't occur until after the establishment of ghettoes.

Indeed. Thanks for the info.
Deepcrush wrote:How so? You're factoring the cost of war. That means everything, not just what suits your thoughts of who's right or wrong. You brought up the death toll of the war for Jews, shouldn't you also consider the death tolls for everyone else in the war? Unless this is nothing but a political jab vs anything meaningful like capitalizing on the deaths of millions.
No, I'm
not factoring the cost of the war. I never claimed to. I very explicitly stated that I was referring to the toll of the Holocaust. You can talk about the otal cost of lives during WWII, in which case your numbers make sense, but don't make shit up about what I said in order to do so.
Deepcrush wrote:You're absolutely right! God knows, they all went to their suffering deaths of their free will. I'm glad you pointed that out. Nothing says free choice like being slowly cooked in liquid hot metal. Or being dragged under a car while your upper body is boiled against the engine block and your backsides ripped from your body from the street. I'm so glad you at least pretended to think about it before you said something.
How about this? Since I take offense to that last bullshit statement of yours. You can take offense when you get to watch someone die in one of those very manners. Because then, I might care that it offends you.
On the other side of things. This is why matters like this one, are best left to history. No one was untouched, unhurt and dismissed of the effects of WW2.
WTF? Don't get all defensive, man. I'm not the one who made fun of the way your family died. I never dismissed it, or any of the crap you're making up. However, it is true that unless it was murder, it wasn't murder.
