Adobe Flash Player

Post by Lazar »

Question for GK or anyone else with a Mac - how do I install Adobe Flash Player? I download the dmg file and go through the install process, and it's supposed to be in my main hard drive volume, but I can't find the player anywhere - it's as if I've installed nothing. What am I doing wrong?

EDIT - Never mind.

Not a Mac user, but I think the Adobe Flash Player is meant to be integrated into your Web Browser. Go to a site that requires the Flash Player. It should load streaming movies.

I don't have any trouble with streaming video, but I want to figure out how to play an flv file. If I open flv files with Quicktime, it gives me the picture but no sound; I've tried downloading VLC and MPlayer, but neither one works.

That one didn't work. But I found one called Eltima that does work, so my question is resolved.

Here's the one I use.
