Re: Michael Jackson's Death Ruled Homicide
I'm not trying to absolve the doctor; I'm trying to claim that there is a burden of responsibility that still rests on Jackson himself.
I can't stand nothing dull

And no one is saying otherwise. But you can't put a dead man on trial.

Indeed, they're both at fault.
"You've all been selected for this mission because you each have a special skill. Professor Hawking, John Leslie, Phil Neville, the Wu-Tang Clan, Usher, the Sugar Puffs Monster and Daniel Day-Lewis! Welcome to Operation MindFuck!"

Yeah, you don't want to be lawyer...you want to be necromancer. That's how you put a dead man on trial.Nickswitz wrote:One day, I'm gonna become a lawyer just to do that...stitch626 wrote:And no one is saying otherwise. But you can't put a dead man on trial.

No, you are guilty of taking the stuff, but your supplier is also guilty of supplying them. When it's a professional doing the providing then it's their job to know better.Mikey wrote:So, let's take a hypothetical trip back in time. If I had managed to kill myself on a meth bender, you're really saying it would be someone else's fault? I mean, I decided to take the drugs, but I'm no biochemist, so it's not my fault, right?
