Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis

Post by Tyyr »

Given the popularity in the Fix JP thread I figured I'd make it one. Who here has it or has played it? Also, was there a big fan mod being made for it? Been a long time since I had my game disks.

I have it. Love it, but no idea on any mods.

My laptop craps itself when I try to play. It's a real pity because it'd make for a great game to just goof off with on the road.

And it won't run it?

That sucks, it runs Vista, doesn't it.

Could you dual boot it, one boot up in XP, the other in Vista?

Given that this is the first time Vista has given me an issue I'm not really ready to bother. I can still play it on my desktop just fine.

Just got this game; it rocks, but it's pretty damn difficult.

As to where it is... You could try Amazon. I went my usual route.

IIRC, there's a pretty strong modding community for the game. Undoubtedly there's an "unlock all dinos" mod somewhere.

I rented this game out ages ago, back when it came out. Sadly, I've not been able to find it in any shops ever since.

If you have a constant internet connection I can give you the torrent for it, it works fine... And I don't see anything wrong with 'stealing' a 10 year old program...
