Three network coverage is virtually non-existent around here. To be honest, i wouldnt stray from Orange/Vodaphone or Virgin Mobile.

I hate Virgin Mobile over here, same as T-mobile, they have crappy service. The only reason T-mobile gets any income is because for some reason people love the sidekick, which in reality is beat by most of verizon's phones, which, I speak from experience, are pretty crappy. But that's just my opinion.

Virgin Mobile is pretty good over here. Only T-Mobile, O2 and Three are troublesome.

Thats interesting. Both my parents drop out all the time. And my dad can't get reception whatsoever in southampton. They both have iPhones.

It may be their iPhones, I know some people that get crappy reception, and others who get great reception. IDK why though.

I was in Southampton just a few weeks ago and my iPhone worked fine. I was in the South Docks getting on and off a cruise ship:



The one on the left. The top deck is desk 19, but 1, 2 and 3 are below the water and for some stupid reason there's no 13. That means she stands a full 15 decks above see level. This pic has perhaps a better feel for the scale:

You'd be amazed at the amount of hotels I've been to that don't have a room 13.

Of course, this means that one fun thing to do is let people you don't want to speak to know you're in room 13 on the top floor.
