There is only one way of avoiding the war – that is the overthrow of this society. However, as we are too weak for this task, the war is inevitable. -L. Trotsky, 1939
Re: Favorite Designs: Ships
Exactly, like people say that they wish they could have not met someone, but for all they know, them meeting that person made that person realize that some people are good, and making them not become a serial killer, thus you meeting someone could mean you just saved a lot of people, or got them killed, depending on the circumstances I guess.
So yes, everything can be changed with nothing more than a simple hello.

An old saying about time travel. There's always a 50% chance changing the past could screw things up even worse.

Exactly, I'm gonna start another thread based off of this idea....

We should split it, one vote for the favorite capital ship and one vote for the favorite fighter.

Good idea, as they are very different.

Unfortunately we haven't got enough for it to be worth splitting that way - anyway, the confirmed ships are:
ISD
Venator-class
B Wing
X Wing
Millennium Falcon
Place your vote now!

Re: Favorite Designs: Ships
I have to cast my final vote with the Venator. She was the ultimate power house of her day. Powerful, mass produced, and to me she looked damned good.
The only ship I like over the Venator is the MC90.

ISD. An excellent vessel that excells in its role as an anti-insurgency vessel and is a damn good warship in general.

The Falcon. She was upgraded beyond all belief and so customised she could actually be her own entirely new class. They took a a stock lighter freighter and made a ship that could defeat starfighters, survive brief encounters with SDs, and was able to play critical roles in the destruction of not one, but TWO Death Stars.
