My sentiments exactly, I saw it, and made fun of it from the start, it was like they were trying to make fun of space movies, except that that wasn't their goal, they just sucked, and made no attempt to research.

Not the first time we've bombed the moon. Heck, we've even reduced the size of our ordnance. We used to lob spent Saturn third stages at it.

Gee...I hope there don't turn out to be some unforseen effects. Like the moon breaking open to reveal its really an egg, and we set loose the "Great Bird of the Galaxy"
